Our schools have an international profile. We follow the Swedish curriculum, however certain parts of the education is taught in English. Nordic International School is a primary school for years 4-9 and we offer evidence-based education with a focus on academic progress and a high level of discipline.
Yes, we have a uniform policy for all students and a dresscode for all staff. The reasons for this are several:
It strengthens the international atmosphere of our schools (uniforms are common in international schools).
It creates a fellowship culture among the students.
It builds a high ambition-focused culture at school.
It makes everyone equal since no one uses branded clothing.
At the start of every school year, we provide clothes to all students:
Year 4-6: 3 light blue polo shirts and 2 dark blue zip cardigans
Year 7-9: 3 light blue polo shirts and 2 dark blue v-neck cardigans
The clothes are provided free of charge to all students.
No, we do not offer after-school care. If there is demand, we offer Junior Club in the afternoons for years 4 and 5.
